Instead of carrying over the existing SRX architecture, based on Sigma platform, GM built the new generation SUV on the superior Provoq Concept platform. GM unveiled its gen-X 2010 Cadillac SRX Crossover at the 2009 Toronto Auto Show. With all-new body styling and advanced technological features, the smaller Cadillac SRX seems to be in response to soaring fuel prices around the world.
